Paris Saint-Germain have apparently set their sights on one Real Madrid star in the case they have to replace one out of Neymar Jr or Kylian Mbappe. Curiously, these two players have been linked with Los Blancos, but now PSG are the ones trying to sign a Madrid player.

Les Parisiens are supposedly interested in Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, as they’re preparing themselves for the possible departure of at least one of Kylian Mbappe or Neymar. With Madrid and Barcelona trying to lure them away, the Ligue 1 champions fear that holding on to both for the long-term will be nearly impossible.

Getting ready to life without one of their biggest figures, Sport claim that PSG are considering turning to Vinicius, as they believe the 19-year-old would be able to lead them to success for years to come. They were rumored to want Vinícius as part of any player-plus-cash offer from Real to try and sign Neymar during the summer.

However, Los Blancos were not keen on parting ways with the highly-rated youngster. Now that Real have turned their heads to Mbappe and not Neymar, things could be different for everybody, so the chance to save some cash by including the Brazilian player in the deal could be too good to turn down.

So far he hasn’t enjoyed the best seasons of all at the Santiago Bernabeu, starting just four games this season and has often found himself dropped from the matchday squad altogether. According to AS, Vinicius is not happy with his current situation at the Spanish capital and that could lead him to look for a new club.

It’s understood that he’d prefer to stay with Madrid, but if things don’t change, a move away may become more appealing.
