Erling Haaland might have given a major hint about his future. The Norwegian striker recently started following both Manchester United and star forward Marcus Rashford on Twitter as rumors over a transfer move continue to swirl.
The 19-year-old has been a great surprise in Europe this season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions so far, including five hat-tricks. If that wasn’t enough, he is also currently the top goalscorer in the Champions League with seven in four matches, averaging out as a goal every 39 minutes.
All these performances have prompted a host of European giants to turn their attention to Haaland, but now it is Manchester United who have emerged as the frontrunners to get his signature. United’s boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to send his most trusted scout to specifically keep a close eye on Haaland.
Besides, the youngster’s father, Alf-Inge, has ‘visited and been seen at United’s training ground.’

It looks like things are falling into place for Man. Utd. given that new development has now come to light, in that the 19-year-old recently began following Manchester United and Rashford on Twitter.
Manchester might have the advantage here, and they could look to secure a deal similar to Chelsea’s for Christian Pulisic, where Haaland would remain with his current club until the end of the season.
Yet, there is a strong belief that the starlet could snub a move to a Euro giant and instead would opt to join German side RB Leipzig next summer as he looks to take the next step in his career.
