The injury bug has hit hard this season, and it has just claimed another victim.
After running head-first into the abdomen area of teammate Semi Ojeleye, Celtics star Kemba Walker was stretchered off the floor late into the second quarter of Friday night’s game in Denver. As he went down, play was stopped as medical personnel from both teams tended to the star guard, who was on the floor for several minutes.
He was transported to the hospital for further evaluation after displaying concussion-like symptoms.
Following the ordeal, an outpouring of support was raised for the star.
Prayers up for Kemba Walker. He had to be taken off the court with a stretcher 🙏

While it is not believed to be a serious injury, the community is obviously concerned for Walker and his well-being.
Walker, 29, entered the game averaging a team-leading 22.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists in his first season with Boston. He is one of the league’s most beloved superstars.
