Even though it seems like things have cooled off a bit between him, the club and their supporters, nobody has forgotten about Neymar Jr’s antics in the summer to try and force his move out of the club.

Eventually, Paris Saint-Germain’s officials were reluctant to take less money than what they had spent on him in the first place, so he was forced to stay at Parc des Princes against his own will.

However, there are still a lot of people that resent Neymar for his attitude, the way he dealt with his desire to go back to Spain, and his apparently careless way of playing, with an obvious lack of defensive commitment.

Therefore, former World Cup winner and Barcelona midfielder Emmanuel Petit went on to blast the Brazilian in a full rant, claiming he ‘sh*t on the club and their supporters’ and has no respect for the institution:

“When I played with (Zinedine) Zidane or (Youri) Djorkaeff, I knew they were able to decide a game on their own, so we accepted their defensive neglect. We accepted it and did our job because we knew they could win with a flash of genius. This is not the case, at all, with Neymar. This guy plays for him, and only for him. Put yourself in the place of the boys in the place of the PSG dressing room, who live for months with the whims of this guy who sh*ts on the club and their supporters; he has no respect,” Petit told RMC Sport, as quoted by Sport.

Truth to be told, PSG don’t need Neymar at all, as they have more than enough weapons to hurt their rivals in the offensive end of the pitch. He doesn’t want to be there, fans don’t want him there, and even his teammates have shown little-to-none respect for him. So why not grant his wish and just let him go?
