Liverpool could be landing a very promising player in the near future, but they’d need to let one of their biggest assets go to do so. The Reds could be offered the chance to sign Real Madrid starlet Vinicius Jr. in a potential swap deal involving none other than Sadio Mane.
Mane has been in superb form this season, and this has once again attracted a lot of attention to him, especially from the La Liga giants, who were previously linked with the Senegalese striker. Zinedine Zidane is said to be a big admirer of Mane, with reports suggesting he would welcome a move for the forward.
Sadio could be ideal for Real’s needs as they continue to look like they miss Cristiano Ronaldo up front, but LFC will surely do all they can to keep hold of their figure. Don Balon suggest Mane would be too expensive to buy, so they suggest Madrid could try looking to sign him with the offer of Vinicius as part of the deal.
Further, they state that the Brazilian youngster has a market value of around £66 million, so that could decrease a considerable amount of Mane’s asking price. Vinicius’ talent could explode in a team like Liverpool, where he’ll have a lot of fun.
However, it’s unlikely that Liverpool will want to see an important player like Mane leaving for a guy who is still on development. Right now the 27-year-old looks basically irreplaceable for Jurgen Klopp’s side with his goals, assists and all the things he does on the pitch.
If Madrid want to strike a deal for him, they need to move fast, as other clubs like Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a move for the talented forward.
