As a 10x All-Star, 5x All-NBA Player, and one of the best scorers of his generation, Carmelo Anthony certainly deserves a place in the history books.
After 7 seasons wearing the Orange and Blue, being their only star for the past decade, most will remember Melo as a Knick. He wanted to be there, after all. So should it be the Knicks who immortalize his name above the rafters?
If you ask Carmelo himself, he thinks both the Knicks and the Nuggets should retire his no.7 and 15 jerseys.

Of course, we know his feelings about the Knicks as well…
“Do I think about it? Anybody would want to get that opportunity if it’s there. We’ll see when that time comes. Hopefully, they’ll hang ‘7’ somewhere up there,” Anthony said.
Of course, Melo has seen different success with each team over the years. But it’s hard to argue he isn’t deserving of recognition by both franchises.
It will be interesting to see if the teams feel the same way.
