Following a dominance 5-year run, the Golden State Warriors hit a road bump not even they could overcome.
Injuries to their key players and several offseason departures spelled disaster for the team, and they are doomed to spend this season in the bunker of the West after being so good for so many years. Mostly, it’s the injuries to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson that has impacted them the most.
And it’s not just the Warriors that are suffering.
In a quote by Rockets star James Harden, the entire NBA is missing the presence of the two Warriors’ stars.

Curry and Thompson are expected to miss the rest of the 2019-20 season. Curry fractured his hands early this season, and Klay is still rehabbing from a torn ACL he suffered in the 2019 Finals.
Together, the two have helped make history for the Warriors, leading them to 3 NBA Championships. They are known as the best shooting backcourt in NBA history.
It’s hard to say what, exactly, their return will bring. It seems like their best days are behind them. But as they await the return of their guys, there is no question that we are all wishing for a speedy recovery.
