Liverpool have stolen all the attention this Sunday after a very valuable victory over their archrivals Manchester United. The Reds are having a terrific run this Premier League season, taking the league by storm and looking unstoppable to win it all in England.
Their moment is so impressive that LFC are on course to break a staggering four records on their way to Premier League glory this season. Their bid to win the title got bigger after Manchester City dropped points again this weekend, while they picked up yet another victory by beating Manchester United 2-0 at Anfield.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah secured the win for the Merseysiders, who sit 16 points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand.
Seeing their marvelous form, winning 21 games of the 22 they’ve played this season, it’s almost crazy to think these guys will lose that huge advantage and drop a lot of points on their way to win the longed-for trophy. In fact, they could break a lot of records on their way to English success.
Jurgen Klopp’s side look set to win the title with a record-breaking points total, on a record-breaking number of wins, by the biggest points margin, and earlier than any other side has won it. If that’s not admirable, I don’t know what is.
Liverpool have won several chances to become PL champions. This time, though, they’re making sure nobody and nothing steps on their way.
