We all know the things Cristiano Ronaldo has done on the pitch, becoming one of the greatest footballers ever during his days with Manchester United, Real Madrid and now with Juventus. The Portuguese superstar has revealed his plans after he hangs the boots, and they are pretty ambitious.

Only a few things are missing in Ronaldo’s career. He’s won everything he’s played for, and his career has been about lifting trophies and collecting individual awards every single season. This doesn’t mean he’s about to retire, but Cristiano is warning everybody that after his football career is over, he’s ready to take on new challenges.

“I still love football. I love to entertain the fans and the people who love Cristiano. It doesn’t matter the age, it’s all about mentality,” he told SPORTbible last November.

“The last five years I start to enjoy this process of seeing me outside of football, so who knows what will happen in the next year or two?”

Just like he’s done on the field, Cristiano wants to leave his mark in business, and he’s aiming to become the GOAT. This man is a gold mine when it comes to marketing and that will be a huge advantage for him in his new career.

For instance, data from Hookit, a sports sponsorship analytics platform, says Ronaldo has more followers across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter than any other athlete and he generated 887.2 million interactions during the first six months of 2019. The next closest? Messi with 361.1 million.

There is no doubt that this guy is a big influence in the world. When he decides to retire from football, he’ll surely become a very successful businessman.
