Funny Video: Michael Jordan’s Reaction After LeBron James Said He Is The GOAT

2 Min Read

Michael Jordan’s reflections and reactions in The Last Dance when he hears the things his former rivals and teammates have given a lot of material to fans to make memes. Almost every week MJ leaves several things to analyze and laugh about, and the NBA community doesn’t miss a chance to use His Airness to troll everybody.

One of the latest and funniest examples of that is an edited video of MJ reacting to LeBron James self-proclaiming as the GOAT of basketball. They use a part of an ESPN special “More Than an Athlete”, where Bron said he was the GOAT after winning the NBA title with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

“That’s what I felt. I was super, super ecstatic to win one for Cleveland because of the 52-year drought. Like, I was ecstatic. That day, the first wave of emotion was, everyone, saw me crying, that was all for 52 years of everything sports that have gone on in Cleveland. And after I stopped, I was like That one right there made you the greatest player of all time.”

A person used that clip and put it together with Jordan reacting to Gary Payton saying he tired MJ out in the 1996 NBA Finals, where Jordan saw his numbers decreased when the Glove started to guard him one on one.

It’s a pretty good job what they did there, and it’s actually pretty funny. However, there is more to see there. That would be the reaction of somebody as Jordan, who is considered the greatest player of all time in the eyes of many against LeBron, who called himself the GOAT. That’s a pretty bold statement.
