Kendrick Perkins has somehow taken a shot at the late Kobe Bryant while making the case for LeBron James as the best player between the two. Perk was debating with former teammate Paul Pierce, discussing the best player of all time, a conversation that always features Kobe and Bron.
If we talk about hot takes, Pierce and Perkins are the biggest examples in the NBA world at this moment. For instance, the Truth recently claimed that LeBron James wasn’t a top-5 player of all time.
During a recent edition of ESPN’s NBA Countdown, Pierce said Kobe was better than James. Perk, who is always making the case for Bron as the GOAT, argued telling that it was easier to beat Kobe than James.
“All I know is it was a lot easier to win against Kobe Bryant than it was LeBron James. You can talk if you want to talk, but I was right there in the thick of things with you. I know he (Pierce) had to really prep for LeBron James and when we got to the Lakers it was smacked up six,” the former center said.
Paul Pierce: “If a game is on the line and I need one game, I want Kob.”
Kendrick Perkins: “It was a lot easier to win against Kobe Bryant than it was LeBron James.”

This is a clash between a who you’d call a LeBron fan and a LeBron hater. Perk always has Bron’s back, no matter what the debate is and Pierce is always trying to take shots at the King due to their rivalry. This is the best time to be a Lakers fan, two former Celtics are going at it defending two of their biggest stars ever.
