Michael Jordan is one of the wealthiest athletes ever. He currently holds a fortune of about $2.1 billion and, as you may know by now, that number continues to grow thanks to his endorsements and the Air Jordan shoe collection.
Jordan has always kept his private affairs to himself. He was flashy and competitive on the court but is more of a low-profile kind of guy after his retirement from the NBA. That’s why we don’t really know much about him or what does he own.
Still, he’s been seen driving some mean cars throughout the course of his life and, judging by the ones we’ve seen, we’ve put together the ultimate ranking of his top 10 most expensive cars. We’re pretty sure that he has more hidden somewhere on his properties.
Chevrolet C4 Corvette
Michael Jordan has always been a Corvette kind of guy. He was instantly endorsed by Chevrolet right after being drafted by the Chicago Bulls and got a brand new Corvette C4 after shooting a series of commercials for the brand.
Jordan was seen in countless Corvettes during his playing years and while it may not be the most luxurious of this list, it’s definitely one of the most stylish. You could have one for as much as $58,500.
Range Rover HSE 4.6
Like most old school guys, Michael Jordan was a huge fan of the Range Rover, especially the V-8 powered HSE 4.6. In fact, we saw him driving one with a customized license plate “Two Treys” in The Last Dance.
This may not seem like much right now but back in the day, owning one of these beauties was a sign of status, and that’s why they were as expensive as $67,300. Now, pretty much everybody can get a nice deal on one of those.
Ferrari 550 Maranello
Michael Jordan is a guy with a fine taste for cars. In fact, some of his Air Jordan shoes are actually inspired in cars and vice versa. For instance, his Ferrari Maranello was inspired by the Jordan XIV.
Jordan reportedly holds a collection of several red cars, apparently, that’s his thing. So, if you want to start a collection of your own, you’ll have to spend around $90,000 on a used Maranello.
Chevrolet Corvette C4 ZR-1 Aniversary Edition
Like we said before, His Airness was the ultimate Corvette guy. Besides the C4, he was also constantly spotted on C5s and more importantly, the beautiful C4 ZR-1 Aniversary Edition, one of his favorite rides of all time.
This is one of the most collectible Corvettes ever made, a limited-edition beauty that not many people could brag about having. Back in the day, you could have one for at least $123,000 but its value quickly rose.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class W140
This one may be Michael Jordan’s ultimate low-profile kind of car. In fact, the rumor is that it was the one he used to get away from crowded places while remaining pretty much unnoticed.
That’s kind of ironic considering we’re talking about a $130,000 Mercedes-Benz here but hey, it’s the GOAT we’re talking about, not even Mercedes’ impress Michael Jordan anymore, c’mon.
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition
But if a Mercedes-Benz were to impress The Black Cat, that must definitely be the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition. A powerful machine with 650 horsepower that can go from 0-60 in just over 3 seconds.
This was one of Michael’s most recent acquisitions – at least to the public eye. And if you want to be just like Mike, you’ll have to spend at least $188,000 to get one of these beauties.
Porsche 911 Turbo S
Personally, this is my favorite car from Michael Jordan’s ultimate collection. It’s strong, stylish, luxurious and pretty juvenile all at the same time, even if it’s far from being Jordan’s most expensive vehicle.
Notably, the famous Air Jordan 6 line was actually inspired by this car, according to designer Tinker Hatfield. That’s just how much Jordan loves it. You can buy one for as much as $190,000.
Ferrari 512 TR
The Ferrari 512 TR, A.K.A ‘The Testarossa’ was one of the most luxurious cars of the 90s, even if Ferrari lovers aren’t that fond of this car, but that’s mostly because it was one of the most mass-produced Ferraris ever.
It was pretty clear that Jordan was the world’s biggest sensations in the 90s, and he made sure to let everybody know about it by spending $212,000 on this powerful machine.
Aston Martin DB9 Volante
The Aston Martin DB9 Volante may be one of the most elegant cars in the world. That’s why a guy with the finest taste like the Greatest Of All Time had to have one on his garage as soon as they got out.
Jordan also owns a couple of Aston Martins, including the DB7, but this one has to be his favorite. I mean, if not, he wouldn’t have spent as much as $230,000 to get behind the wheels of this beauty.
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Among all of Jordan’s incredibly luxurious and powerful cars, no one beats the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. This v-12 powered stunner can go from 0-60 in just 3.4 seconds and attain a top speed of 205 mph.
This car is the jewel of the crown of Michael Jordan’s collection. I mean, not everybody in the world could spend $410,000 on his new ride but hey, Jordan is clearly not like the rest of us.
