Shaq O’Neal’s Reaction After Charles Barkley Didn’t Name Him In The Top 10 Of All-Time

Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley went at it once again after Barkley left Shaq out of his top 10 list of all time. Shaq, Chuck, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith were debating, as usual, each one from a remote location, when things went wrong with O’Neal and Barkley. Reacting to Barkley’s list, Shaq said:

“…I have a problem with your list, Chuck. You ain’t got me in the top 10. Whatever you’re smoking down there in Reno, you need to take it back to wherever you got it from.”

Chuck wasn’t backing down and he had a response ready for O’Neal, as he later elaborated.

“I’ve never seen anybody like Shaq. Ever. Shaq is the most dominant big man ever, in my opinion. But, I put him behind Magic, Bird, LeBron, and Kobe. I didn’t put him behind anyone crazy… Shaq is right there at 11, 12, 13.”

Shaq had the best response to Chuck not having him in his top 10 list 🤣

There is no doubt that Shaq is one of the most dominant players the league has ever seen, but he often gets behind other stars like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson or Michael Jordan. Talking about old school, these three are the best of the best.

Shaq played in two generations and he did so very well, racking up a lot of individual and collective awards, being considered one of the greatest centers of all time. Still, when you see how impactful he was for the game, there is no doubt he deserves to be a top 15 player of all time.

Some say he had the potential to be the GOAT but didn’t take full advantage of that.
