Kendrick Perkins isn’t among the best big men on the planet, but he played his role exceptionally well during his tenure in the NBA, averaging 5.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game on 53% shooting.
But apparently, little Perk (Kendrick’s 8-year-old son) is already making waves. A video of him recently surfaced online, and Mr. Perkins made sure to show pride in his son.
Body like Shaq with handles like His Daddy!!! Yep. https://t.co/vhgNBHxDGz

It’s hard to believe the kid if eight. He’s big, strong, and very confident for being such a young and raw talent. Seems like “Perk Jr.” is already primed to beat out his father, and the fans were quick to let him know.
No disrespect, but he’s already better than you are right now (pound for pound)

On a serious note though, no disrespect intended for Perk. He was a decent big man and his kid looks like he’s on the right track.
As one of the newest ex-player basketball analysts, Perk has been one of the biggest faces of ESPN recently. Seeing his son dominating at such a young age is making a lot of noise and it will be interesting to see if he can continue his trend.
