After an encouraging start, the Los Angeles Lakers have garnered quite a but concern after dropping their latest game by 19 points (105-86)to the 5th seeded OKC Thunder.
The Thunder held L.A. to just 35.2% shooting and it was a pretty awful night for them, all things considered. They never held a lead and, since the first seeding game, L.A. is now just 2-2 in the bubble.
The Lakers lose 105-86 to OKC, the only game all season long when they never held a lead. LeBron 19p on 7-of-19 (0-of-5 from 3) 11r 4a; AD 9p on 3-of-11 8r 5a; Waiters 14p on 5-of-13; Kuz 10p. LAL shoot 35.6% overall and 5-for-37 from 3 (13.9%). They play HOU tomorrow.

Needless to say, there’s a lot to talk about, and coach Frank Vogel all but confirmed they will consider some lineup changes going forward:

The Lakers are still in good position moving forward, but it’s clear from social media that people are concerned. LeBron’s numbers are down and the team has appeared out of rhythm these past few games.
Nonetheless, there’s still plenty of time to turn things around and if anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, it’s Bron. Can he overcome the current obstacles to reach the NBA Finals? Will he get out of this mini-slump before it’s too late? There are still a whole lot more questions than answers, but we’ll find out soon enough how the Lakers will respond.
