We can’t get enough of the back and forths between Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley. These two legends have been known for entertaining NBA fans with their rants on live TV and the heated exchanges between them.
Discussing the big game between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Brooklyn Nets of Thursday night, O’Neal told Barkley he knew better since he had championship experience, contrary to Chuck, whose dreams of winning an NBA ring were destroyed by Michael Jordan.
“First of all, I speak from not (just) being a great defensive player but having championship experience. I know what the hell I’m talking about” O’Neal told Barkley.
Barkley wasn’t having any of that and he came back with a huge response, telling Shaq he was carried during those championships.
“Don’t forget about Kobe and Dwyane Wade carrying your fat a**,” Chuck replied.

Shaq won four NBA titles during his career, three with the Los Angeles Lakers and one with the Miami Heat. He played with two of the greatest shooting guards in the history of the league, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade, creating great duos in LA and South Beach. However, to say that he was carried sounds more like Chuck trying to piss him off rather than the truth.
Still, we love to see these two going at it and this is the best sample of why. Barkley often has the better jabs and calling Shaq a ‘fat a–‘ wasn’t the only one.
“You better quit yelling at me Karen,” he told O’Neal.

These two were great on the court and had incredible matchups but there is no doubt that we really enjoy seeing them going after each other every night on TNT.
