Luka Doncic keeps making statements in this league. Despite losing to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night game, Doncic went off with 42 points, setting a new record for a debut in playoffs. The Slovenian point guard is a problem and he showed that last night, leading the Mavs to have a 48-18 run at some point in the first half of the game. In the end, the Clippers cut the distance until they surpass the Mavs and won the game, 118-110.
Still, Doncic earned a lot of good comments. He’s only 21 and is still driving rivals crazy in the postseason. He doesn’t even have a roof, but one thing is certain, he’s the future. That’s what Paul George had to say about Doncic after the game. PG13 had troubles with the young player and he didn’t hesitate to show some love towards Doncic and his game.
“He’s the future, I mean, we didn’t come here thinking we can stop Luka, but what we did expect was to make it tough for him. That’s the thing about this series, these games add up and we’re gonna continue to try to wear him down as much as possible,” George said.
“He’s the future.”

Doncic keeps turning heads to him every night and he’s not done. The Mavs put pressure on the Clippers and they expect to take that last step in the second game of the series. They already show they’re a threat. It’s time to see if they can shock the Clippers and the world. Luka is inspired and a threat to anybody in front of him.
