The best players on earth are always fierce competitors. That’s just a part of their nature, a part of who they are that’s not going to be easy to control when things aren’t going their way.

Also, sometimes the ego can get the best of those superstars and make them lose the perspective of who they’re talking to and how they’re doing it.

That’s what may have happened to Phoenix Mercury’s Diana Taurasi during his team’s loss towards the Minnesota Lynx yesterday.

The greatest WNBA player ever made honor to her reputation as a trash-talker and bashed a referee for a call, claiming it was bullsh*t. Needless to say, she was hit with a technical foul, which only infuriated her even more:

“I’ll see you in the lobby later,” the female GOAT told the referee, catching the attention of all the cameras.

The 🐐 doesn’t play. Bubble life. 💀💀

For those who need context, the WNBA is currently having a bubble of their own – a Wubble, if you will – meaning they have to coexist with their rivals, staff, and even referees wherever they go on the Campus.

Taurasi’s team is currently going through a rough patch in the bubble and have dropped three straight games, so you know that’s not going to fly for such a competitor, especially considering the flawless résumé she’s put together throughout her career in the league.

Poor referee, she definitely got an earful from the GOAT while trying to enjoy a peaceful dinner. You go at Diana, you better be ready for the smoke.
