Kostas Antetokounmpo has signed a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Lakers and is ready to run it back with the team. That is good news for the player, who won an NBA championship in the bubble last month. Moreover, this situation has led fans to make many jokes about Kostas and his brother Giannis, the current NBA MVP.

Giannis has been linked with the Lakers for a long time now and having Kostas with them is seen as an advantage for the purple and gold. One fan took to Twitter to make a hilarious joke about Rob Pelinka and his attempts to talk with the Greek Freak without breaking the tampering rules. NBA comedy Twitter King Josiah posted a picture of Rob Pelinka and an imaginary conversation that everybody loved.

“Kostas, so happy to have you back on the Lakers! Now pass the phone to Giannis real quick,” Johnson wrote.

Of course, fans couldn’t help but laugh, with some adding more ideas or details of how a hypothetical conversation between the Lakers GM and Giannis would flow.

Giannis’ future with the Milwaukee Bucks is up in the air right now. Plenty of teams, including the Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, Golden State Warriors and the Lakers have all been linked with the player. It’s unclear what he’s going to do now but the Lakers are reportedly waiting to see what’s next for the forward.

Anthony Davis is reportedly waiting for Giannis to sign his contract to decide what to do with his. If the Bucks superstar decides to test the waters of free agency, Davis will try to get a different contract to leave room for the Lakers in a potential pursuit of Giannis.
