Kyrie Irving is one of the best talents in the league. Irving has the best handles in the league and the ability to score from anywhere. Needless to say, on the court, Irving is one of the biggest assets that a team can have. Recently though, Kyrie Irving has come under scrutiny for his off the court activities.
There were some reports of Kyrie Irving partying maskless with some of his family members. There were also talks of a fine if the NBA COVID-19 protocols were found to be violated. Needless to say, Kyrie Irving is in hot water with the media. One of the people criticizing Irving is a famous sports analyst, Stephen A. Smith.
“I think Kyrie Irving should retire. I think he should announce his retirement today.”@stephenasmith got right to the point 😳

Stephen A. Smith criticizes Kyrie Irving for not prioritizing basketball this season and calls out Irving’s inability to show up for games. While personal reasons are a reasonable cause for a break from work, Smith wants Irving to retire until his mind is in the right place to play basketball. Needless to say, a resolution for Irving’s situation has to be found soon between player and franchise.
Kyrie Irving is a great player who can compete for the NBA championship this year. Irving has a superstar running mate in Kevin Durant, and could easily make the Finals with his current team. Irving has a job to do, but no-one can fault him if his reasons are truly of a personal nature.
