7-year NBA veteran Victor Oladipo is already looking for the exit after a trade to the Houston Rockets. Wanting to join a contender, it seems the 28-year-old swingman will soon be embarking on a journey with a brand new team.
And, according to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, at least three teams have emerged as potential landing spots: the Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, and Miami Heat.
As I reported last week, Victor Oladipo, an impending free agent, has eyes for Miami. Could the Heat, or another team looking to contend—such as the Nuggets or Celtics—try to acquire him?
My NBA Power Rankings are updated with one thought on every team, including: Ben Simmons’ future, Luka’s D, Jrue’s impact, Nate Bjorkgren’s pretty offense, Griffin’s decline, Devin Vassel’s long arms, Larry Nance Jr..’s do-it-all game, Harden, and TACKO. https://t.co/wYFw096UJP

Oladipo isn’t tier-one star material. If anything, he’s more of a Robin than he is a Batman. But his particular skillset and unselfishness as a player is enough to make any team better for having him.
Through 9 games this season, Vic has averaged 20 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists on 42% shooting and 36% shooting from beyond the arc.
Despite a disturbing injury history, it seems he’s still got plenty left to give to any team willing to give him a chance. We’ll see soon enough which team it will be…
