James Harden and Kevin Durant demonstrated they are a scary duo in their second game together with the Brooklyn Nets. After their Saturday showcase against the Orlando Magic, the Nets had to fight harder against the current NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks did a terrific job against the Nets, but they couldn’t get the win.

Harden and Kevin Durant led their team to the 127-125 win over the Magic to continue their good moment in the league. They demonstrated they can play together just fine and Harden showed his willingness to help KD in every way he can to bring a championship to the Barclay Center. After the game, The Beard talked about how easy is to play alongside KD.

“I know what type of player Kevin Durant is. He’s one of the best players to ever touch a basketball. It’s God-given, 7-foot, and can basically do everything. For me, it’s not trying to compete with that. It’s allowing Kevin to be the best Kevin he can be.”

He had a tumultuous exit from the Houston Rockets but that didn’t change anything from Harden, who didn’t hesitate to praise the city. However, he made it clear that he’s right where he wants to be and this change is “rejuvenation” for the player.

“Houston is a beautiful place, shout out to them. It feels great. It’s a rejuvenation. This organization, the Brooklyn Nets, has welcomed me with open arms. Obviously I’m playing with some of the best talent in the world, as you saw tonight.”

Harden then took to Twitter to express his excitement about being apart of the Nets, reminding everybody of what’s coming for the rest of the league.

The best Harden is back; he’s ready to do anything he can to win a championship and that’s something that can happen this season. The Nets are still waiting for Kyrie Irving but it doesn’t seem like they’re in a rush to have the point guard back. Harden has demonstrated he can play well alongside Kevin Durant and that is great news for the organization.
