The Utah Jazz are having a very good NBA season so far, ranking 3rd in the Western Conference only behind the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers. This team is doing great things so far, especially when they’re often overlooked on the list of contenders.
Well, not everybody thinks that way, and Steve Kerr claimed that they’re a team capable of winning the NBA championship in a couple of months from now. Before their Saturday matchup, Kerr had nothing but good things to say about the Jazz.
“Utah is a veteran team. They’re trying to win a championship right now, and I think they’re capable of doing so,” Kerr said on Saturday, via The Salt Lake Tribune. “Watching them on tape, the continuity that they have compared to where we are, it’s night and day, just with execution. They’re where we were 3-4 years ago. They’ve been good for a long time. The continuity is apparent right away. They all know each other so well. They execute their stuff beautifully.”
They won their 8th consecutive game with a 127-108 win over the Warriors, which confirmed they are one of the best teams in the league right now. Everybody is in awe of them and not even Kerr can hide his admiration for this team.
After the fiasco they lived last year, blowing a 3-1 lead in the first round of the postseason, the Jazz are ready to make a statement this season, led by Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.
