One year ago today, the world lost Kobe Bean Bryant — a beloved icon who inspired millions to work hard and be the best version of themselves.

All across the world, fans have been sharing some of their thoughts on Bryant and how he has touched their life. On Twitter, Laaker legend Magic Johnson became the latest to speak on the topic, sending out a series of heartfelt tweets remembering Bryant, his legacy, and the relationship they shared as stars in the big city.

Bryant was a Laker for 20 years before his retirement in 2016. In that span, he achieved an amazing amount of success, finishing as an 18x All-Star, 5x NBA Champion, and 2x Olympic Gold medalist.
