Stephen Curry is an insane offensive superstar, which by definition makes him pretty impossible to guard. Curry’s crisp handle and a variety of dribble moves allow him to create well for himself and score against pretty much any defender. That is the case with a lot of superstars: it is impossible to fully stop a transcendent player. However, there are players who make life difficult for them and force the superstars to work for every basket.

Recently, Stephen Curry has shared the list of the NBA defenders that will affect his game, and play him pretty well. He listed two elite defensive guards in Avery Bradley and Jrue Holiday, as well as another standout defender from his past, Tony Allen. However, he revealed the most frustrating defender for him is none other than his brother Seth Curry.

Yes, and no. Jrue Holiday, Avery Bradley, Tony Allen when he was in the league. There are guys that have a knack for being in the right place in the right time, being physical, studying your game, and knowing your moves.

Never in my mind are you scared that they’re going to stop you. But at the same time, you gotta go harder that particular night or play a little smarter. Maybe like Pat Bev and the antics, you’ve gotta deal with that. But I think those guys exist and they get paid to defend the best guys in the league.

But Seth Curry is the one that frustrates me the most… In the playoffs, when he was in Portland, he literally had like four steals on me. He disarmed me a little bit, but he was literally everywhere and I couldn’t figure it out.

Stephen Curry lists some amazing defenders, but it is surprising that Seth Curry is the person that guards him the best. Perhaps Seth Curry has an intricate knowledge of his brother’s moves, and that is why he can make life difficult on Stephen Curry. While the players mentioned are all amazing defenders, at the end of the day everyone knows that you cannot stop Stephen Curry.
