John Wall was traded for Russell Westbrook last season, with the point guard heading to the Houston Rockets in exchange for the former MVP. During his time with the Houston Rockets, Wall averaged 20.6 PPG and 6.9 APG. It should be mentioned that his scoring wasn’t efficient, but the point guard clearly has juice left in the tank, and could round into better form with one year under his belt after the Achilles injury.

The Houston Rockets aren’t an ideal situation for John Wall, as they are currently rebuilding after the James Harden era. However, it is clear that Wall could still help a team that needs an extra piece to get over the top.

It seems as though the Los Angeles Clippers could be an appealing destination for John Wall. The Houston point guard has recently liked a Tweet featuring a potential Clippers trade for him.

The original article was written by Joey Linn of FanNation, and it covered a potential trade package that could be used to acquire John Wall. The trade would involve Marcus Morris, Rajon Rondo, Patrick Beverley, and Luke Kennard in exchange for John Wall and a 2023 first-round pick via Milwaukee.

The Los Angeles Clippers will have some minutes to go around at point guard if Reggie Jackson goes elsewhere, and perhaps Wall could fill them. While there are injury concerns in this situation if the Clippers acquire John Wall, they would add more offensive talent to their roster and have a solid enough third option.
