Jayson Tatum Shocks The NBA, Scores 50 Points  In Game 3 Upset

Through the first two games, the Brooklyn Nets dominated almost every aspect of the game. It became clear that the Celtics are just outmatched and in way over their heads against the Brooklyn big three, and most predicted a 4-game sweep.

But thanks to the amazing heroics of Jayson Tatum, who scored 50 points on the night, it was Boston who shocked the world with the win, and now face the chance to tie the series up a 2 on Sunday.

Tatum. 50 piece.

Naturally, it probably won’t do much to change the outcome of the series. Brooklyn is the deeper, more talented team. But, at the very least, the Celtics aren’t going out without a fight and are finally showing that heart and passion their fans have been looking for all season long.

Tatum
Trae
Luka
Ayton
Ja
Mitchell
MPJ
Booker
Simmons
etc…

next graduating class of potential/already stars playing in this postseason all look awesome. future of the league is in damn good hands.

Jayson Tatum with another 50 piece party pack to keep the Cs alive. Mild, BBQ and Spicy! Tristian Thompson looked like the school yard bully! Gave Brooklyn that work! Carry the hell on…

Jason Tatum is feeling it. Dropping a fiddy piece against Nets, trying to hold off Harden’s 41 and KD’s 35. What an offensive display. #NBAPlayoffs #NetvsCelts.🔥

Tatum drops 50, Kyrie plays awful, and TD Garden will be full on Sunday.

Can’t wait.

It also sends a message to the rest of the league that this team isn’t completely unbeatable.

If the Celtics can steal a game, what might Milwaukee, Philadelphia, or even L.A. do against them? That much remains to be seen, and it will no doubt be a whole lot of fun to watch.

For the Celtics, Tatum is their future and they will only go as far as he takes them. This summer, expect the team to build around him in order to improve their standing in the East. Certainly, a healthy Jaylen Brown will go a long way.
