Max Kellerman Says That The Los Angeles Clippers Would Give The Brooklyn Nets The Most Trouble In The Finals

The Los Angeles Clippers are a team that has flown under the radar for most of the season, but they are 3rd in the Western Conference, and look like they could be legitimate contenders. Superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George give them a chance against any team, and they look like they would be able to hold their own against most of the top-tier contenders slated to win the championship.

The big favorite for the NBA Championship when they’re fully healthy is the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets have 3 superstars in Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, and it will be extremely difficult to stop their offense in the playoffs. However, Max Kellerman thinks that the Los Angeles Clippers could give the Nets the best matchup in the NBA Finals from all the teams in the Western Conference.

"The Clippers are LOADED … The team that I think that can give the healthy Nets Big 3 the best run? It's these Clippers!"

The Clippers are LOADED … The team that I think that can give the healthy Nets Big 3 the best run? It’s these Clippers! If Paul George steps up. I think he’s totally motivated to do that.

Max Kellerman thinks that if Paul George can perform in the playoffs, then the Clippers can compete the best against the Brooklyn Nets. The key here would be the defense, as Leonard and George can guard up on Kevin Durant and James Harden, leaving the rest of the team to deal with Kyrie Irving. The Clippers may not win the matchup itself, but they definitely have a good enough defensive team to give the Brooklyn Nets some trouble in this potential matchup.
