It didn’t take much time for DeMarcus Cousins to react to George Karl attacking him. Even though they haven’t crossed paths in four years, the bad blood between the former NBA coach and the player is still there. On Friday night, HoopsHype’s Twitter account asked fans to create their name with the player they hated 10 years ago and the one they hate right now. Well, Karl didn’t miss his opportunity and simply wrote ‘DeMarcus Cousins.’

The former Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors player didn’t hesitate to reply. He took to Twitter on Saturday to express he was locked in and that nobody could disrupt his peace right now.

“I’m locked in! Won’t let em knock me off my pivot. Live and Learn.” He wrote.

I’m locked in!

Won’t let em knock me off my pivot.

Live and Learn.

These two people do not like each other. Karl coached Boogie from 2015 through 2016 and their relationship was never good. Cousins claimed Karl was the worst coach he ever had and you already know the feelings of Karl towards him.

The legendary coach left the NBA in 2016 after he was fired by the Kings. He hasn’t found a place in the league ever since. As for his former pupil, he’s been wandering around the league, suffering from injuries that didn’t let him become the player he could have.
