Skip Bayless: ‘Kyrie Irving Is Right, LeBron James Is Not A Clutch Player’

It seems like Kyrie Irving has a strong feel for taking uncalled shots at every single one of his current and former teammates. Now, his latest victim was LeBron James.

Kyrie basically said that he was always the best scoring option on every team he’s ever been with and that he never felt like he could trust one of his teammates to hit a big shot down the stretch. While he may have said it without any intention of taking a dig at LeBron, it obviously felt that way:

“I felt like I was the best option on every team I’ve played for down the stretch. This is the first time in my career where I can be like ‘that motherf*cker can make that shot too,” Kyrie said on Kevin Durant’s Podcast ‘The ETCs’.

Needless to say, that was music for Skip Bayless’ ears, as he’s made a living out of taking shots at LeBron James and constantly repeating that he’s not a clutch player:

Kyrie is so right.

Bayless took it to his Twitter account to simply say “Kyrie is so right” but we know that we’re going to hear a lot more of this as soon as he has the chance to go on the record.

Kyrie may or may not have called LeBron James out with that statement. Then again, it seems like taking a shot at the guy who helped you make the playoffs for the first time on your career is way out of line, and he does have a reputation for those kinds of things.
