Kevin Durant is going to be the top price for any organization in this upcoming free agency summer. With the Clippers, Knicks, Nets, Lakers, and Warriors trying to hold on to him, he’s going to have plenty of offers to choose from.

Even so, it feels as if the best thing he could possibly do is just staying put with the Golden State Warriors, regardless of the fact that reports point towards him wanting out of the team even if they win another Championship.

They want him there, but the ball is pretty much on his court right now. He’s already drawn a lot of hate in the past for his controversial decisions, but today, we’re going to let you know about the top 5 reasons why he should strongly consider resigning with the Golden State Warriors.

5. Great Organization

Led by Bob Myers and Joe Lacob, the Golden State Warriors went from being one of the league’s most mediocre teams to a top-tier organization that really knows how to take care of their stars.

Fans flood the arena to show their support for them, and Warriors players are pretty much Gods walking among men in the Bay area. Myers and Lacob love Durant, and they would do everything it takes to please him.

Well, Stephen Curry is one of the best and most unselfish teammates in the league. Together, they’re one of the strongest and most dominant 1-2 punches this game has ever seen, and that’s not something you can easily bail on.

Klay Thompson is a perfect fit next to Durant thanks to his backcourt defense and ability to shoot the lights out, and Steve Kerr has proven to be a basketball mastermind. Why give up on all that?

3. Four-Peat

Kevin Durant Reveals His Top 5 Players Of All Time, MJ And Kobe Are The Best Players Ever

If the Golden State Warriors wind up winning the mythical three-peat this season, they will have the chance to keep writing history the year after by completing a four-peat, something no one has done since the Bill Russell era.

Kevin Durant is already a future Hall-of-Famer and he’s one of the best players to ever lace them up, but winning 4 consecutive Championships (and winning 4 straight Finals MVPs) would make him top-5 all time for sure.

2. New Arena

Golden State Warriors Make $2 Billion Revenue From New Arena Before It’s Even Opened

The Golden State Warriors just played their very last regular season game at the legendary Oracle Arena, and they’ll have the chance to give Oakland fans one last joy by winning yet another Championship there.

The Warriors are set to move to one of the most incredibly modern stadiums in basketball history, and, should Durant stay, he’ll definitely earn the right to have his figure immortalized on a statue right in front of it.

1. He Can Do Whatever He Wants

Well, at the end of the day, Kevin Durant has no ties whatsoever with the Knicks or any other organization. He already drew heat from bailing on Westbrook and the Thunder, so you know he doesn’t care about what people think about him.

Kevin Durant can do whatever he wants on free agency and, by all means, we know he’s going to do exactly so. But, if he stays, he knows he can turn something great into something legendary, and he shouldn’t give up on the chance to do so.
