Doncic and the Jordan Brand will host a 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament in Slovenia at Lake Bled, which will take place on a court floating in the middle of the lake.

They will take this opportunity to promote the new shoe, and it’s an effective strategy with the post going viral on social media. Luka Doncic is already one of the young faces of the NBA and this is only serving to increase his appeal among basketball fans.

Luka Doncic Recently Extended His Partnership With Jordan Brand To 2029

Luka Doncic first signed with Jordan Brand on a 5-year deal in 2019. The deal was set to expire in 2024, but the superstar has already been locked down for another five years by the brand.

It was announced in August 2023 that Luka Doncic had signed a contract extension with Jordan Brand that will keep him with them until 2029.

At 24 years of age and with his second shoe already released, Luka Doncic is easily the best young superstar in the NBA. He hasn’t been able to lead the Dallas Mavericks past the Western Conference Finals yet, but it only feels like a matter of time till he finds team success.

Going into the next season, there are questions being asked about Luka Doncic’s team and their ability to take the next step. But with Kyrie Irving next to him and a commercially successful offseason, the sky is the limit for Doncic in 2023-24.

Luka Doncic Has A Great Relationship With Michael Jordan

Every NBA player who becomes a superstar in the league and has a chance to become one of the greats has only one goal, to become like Michael Jordan.

And despite the lack of playoff success so far, Luka Doncic has individually shown that he is following closely in the footsteps of the GOAT. Luka Doncic’s playoff average of 32.5 points per game is second only to the Chicago Bulls legend.

And his relationship with the owner of the Jordan Brand is fantastic as well. Michael Jordan showed Luka Doncic a lot of love at the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team event during All-Star Weekend in 2022.

With Luka Doncic’s shoes likely to sell a lot, their relationship is bound to only get better. Michael Jordan makes millions every year off of Jordan Brand and it seems Luka Doncic will also make the most of that for the foreseeable future.
