  • Drake had Kevin Durant to fire up the crowds in Washington
  • Also present was Baltimore Ravens star QB Lamar Jackson
  • Prior to Durant, Drake dapped up Stephen Curry in during his concert in Brooklyn

Drake had Washington’s own on stage during his concert, and safe to say, it did fire up the crowds as the rapper dapped up Kevin Durant.

Drake x Durant was one of the highlights and adding to the frenzy was Lamar Jackson when he appeared alongside the duo, following which there was a deafening cheer from the crowd.

For those unaware, Durant is from the nation’s capital, and that earned him ample love from his hometown fans. While he grew up in Prince George’s County in Maryland, the Phoenix Suns star is still connected to DC. Jackson is the QB for the Baltimore Ravens and grew up in Florida.

This, though, is no secret that Drake is a sports fan and an avid basketball ardent. So it’s no surprise that he had some big names out there.

Drake Had Stephen Curry At His Concert In Brooklyn Earlier

Prior to lighting up Washington with Kevin Durant, Drake had Stephen Curry wowing fans during his concert in Brooklyn earlier this month.

“They say we look alike,” he said, per a tweet from Bleacher Report. “Make some noise for my brother Steph Curry in the building one time. And of course, the lovely Ayesha Curry. And mama bear, you know.” And naturally, the Golden State Warriors star cracked up while at it.

Drake and Curry have been known to be good friends for years, despite the Toronto Raptors beating Golden State in the 2019 NBA Finals. Surely, there is no love lost between the two, and now with Durant, Drake surely has his fans entertained.
