Michael Jordan’s son Marcus kept it real on what the Chicago Bulls and his family felt about his relationship with Larsa Pippen, despite what the former icon recently said.

Speaking to ET’s Brice Sander, Marcus, and Larsa shared their thoughts on how the former’s family feels about the two.

“Well, we spent some time together during the holidays. She came and visited some of my family, I visited some of her family, so I think that’s kinda what, once we realized our families were OK with it, then I feel like that was easier for us.”

He further added:

“And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with, you know, where I’m living,” Marcus told ET.

“Everybody had an opinion at first. I think there was some shock and interest early on, but I think that was the whole point of us trying to spend some family time together during the holidays.” he continued. “At least for me, if we’re gonna be in the media, you know, I kind of need to introduce you to my mom and my mom’s side and my dad’s side. And so, I think that went well and so far, so good.”

“Yeah, oh yeah,” he exclaimed with a smile when asked if the relationship had MJ’s stamp of approval.

At the time of writing, the relationship looks perfectly mature and given the latest responses, it does feel like the family is welcoming of Larsa. This certainly comes as good news for the couple.

Michael Jordan Disapproved Of Marcus Dating Larsa Earlier

Earlier this month, Michael Jordan was spotted in Paris and was quizzed by the paparazzi about Marcus and Larsa, and whether the Bulls legend approved of it.

In a viral clip doing the rounds on Twitter, Jordan’s response was a laugh, followed by a quick no. And this came amid Larsa talking about Marcus’ parents.

Speaking on “The Tamron Hall Show” on March 1, she said he was hanging out with MJ and his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy, and that all of them had a cordial rapport.

“I don’t really want to talk about them,” Larsa said about Marcus’ parents. “I feel like it’s not about my parents or his parents. They’re all happy. Our whole family is fine.”

Considering Marcus’ latest comments and Larsa’s thoughts, there do seem to be contrasting thoughts, but the bottom line is the pair seemingly looking happy and going strong.
