In what came as a bit of a fun contest, the NHL, NBA, and MLB crews on TNT competed in a sports relay, leaving making for some quality content.
The NBA crew comprising Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley all relived the relay they were part of.
The first challenge was to hit a free throw, followed by scoring a goal, and the third contest was to throw a strike. The final competition was to make a putt.
The NHL crew went first, followed by MLB, and then the NBA stalwarts. In all, it was a fun competition that saw the NHL team walk away with a gigantic trophy.
In what has been a hectic NBA season, the activity comes as a fun respite, and it’s all the more reason why the Turner network has been one of, the more loved channels on national television.
What Makes Inside The NBA One Of The Best Shows Related To Basketball?
Quite simply, the show offers more than just concrete and in-depth analysis. The show hosts are three former All-stars and a veteran sportscaster who has spent as much time covering the sport as the players who have suited up themselves.
The likes of Shaq, Barkley, Ernie, and Kenny bring their own flavor and distinct style of commentary and analysis to the fore while also adding copious doses of fun at it.
And over the years, the hosts have grown fond of each other, and the bond is clearly seen along with the relentless banter. Recently, Shaq rooted for his show even though he was sidelined due to hip surgery. In his tweet, he sent a message to his TNT co-hosts, Ernie Johnson and Candace Parker. “I’m always watching @TurnerSportsEJ and @Candace_Parker miss y’all.”
