Jimmy Butler, over the years, has established himself as one of the biggest superstars in the Eastern Conference. After leading the Miami Heat to yet another Conference Finals appearance, the Heat talisman is surely enjoying some deserved time off right now.
Be it showing off his incredible vacation in Italy or sporting a new hairdo, it is safe to say that the 33-year-old is having a great time. But with the season getting closer, players have started to get some reps in. Butler is no different.
Jimmy Butler Turns Into Jimmy Buckets In Latest Offseason Training
Ahead of a jam-packed season, Butler was recently spotted attending a Chris Brickley training session. Butler looked fired up in the same.
Hitting mid-range jumpers, pull-up threes, and else, it seemed like Butler couldn’t miss a single shot. It is fair to say that it wasn’t Jimmy Butler on the court; it was Jimmy Buckets.

While Butler continued his training sessions, the Heat haven’t made any big moves in the offseason. While they had the opportunity to go all in for a Kevin Durant trade, they didn’t. The same happened in the case of Donovan Mitchell. Given that the Cleveland Cavaliers snagged off the superstar guard with a bunch of picks and some young players, the Heat, at least in theory, could have pulled off a similar package.
Missing out on two superstars is certainly frustrating. While they had the chance to pair up Jimmy Butler with a star, the Heat will now hope that their existing squad can step up. Given how Tyler Herro took a massive jump offensively, the Heat might benefit from starting the guard.
Even veteran guard Kyle Lowry wasn’t in the best of form last season. If he manages to get back in form for the upcoming season, the Heat can be a sleeper pick in the East. Miami is certainly capable of making a splash in the East. Will they be able to upset the giants of Milwaukee and Boston next season?
