If these teams are interested in making this trade happen, there may be some conditions attached. In order to trade for Ben Simmons, the Warriors would have to include Andrew Wiggins in a move because of the NBA’s Designated Rookie Extension rule. This could be a major problem for the Dubs if they have some sort of interest in the Australian playmaker.
A lot can happen with these three and all the rumors surrounding them, and perhaps a three-team trade is what they need to improve their level ahead of next season.
