Draymond Green Reveals The Real Reason For His Attitude After Winning The 2022 NBA Championship: “To Disrespect Us As If We Aren’t Champions And Write Us Off Like We Hadn’t Done It Before, That’s Why I Said F**k Them. Simple.”

The Golden State Warriors won their fourth NBA Championship in the last eight seasons on June 16, 2022. Since then, the celebrations have been on for each and every member of the Warriors.

Apart from celebrations, forward Draymond Green has been engaging in a number of feuds since winning the fourth ring of his career. It doesn’t matter whether it is fans or NBA analysts, Green has been shutting up all the critics of him and the Warriors.

In order to do so, the 32-year-old has been using some NSFW language. Be it during the Warriors championship parade or his own podcast. Dray has definitely taken the filter off himself.

If you are wondering what might be pushing Draymond to take such steps, believe us, you aren’t alone. Well, the 4x NBA champion finally revealed the reasoning behind his newfound attitude in an interview with Trevor Noah on ‘The Daily Show.’

(Starts at 0:30):

“This one feels different than any other one. It’s like the ultimate f**k you. It’s the best. I feel like people doubted us more this time than they did prior to 2015 when we had never won anything, and I think that’s ultimately … everybody’s like, ‘Why in the parade are you saying f**k everybody and shut up?’ And that’s because the reality is, they disrespected the work we’ve already done. To disrespect us as if we aren’t champions and write us off like we hadn’t done it before, that’s why I said ‘f**k them.’ Simple.”

To some extent, what Green said in the interview is true. Since Kevin Durant left the Warriors, most believed that the Dubs’ time to win titles was gone.

Even though they played extremely well this season, they were, for some reason, the underdogs in the NBA Finals. But proved their doubters wrong and won the championship in a dominant style.
