Jeremy Lin has starred some curious moments in the NBA ever since he made it to the league, starting from that Linsanity time, where he earned the recognition of everybody who was interested in this sport and finishing with all the troubles his eccentric haircuts caused during his days in Charlotte.
Albeit as he’s not the star he was during his Linsanity days, Jeremy has maintained in the league even though he now comes off the bench and even though he’s currently playing for one of the best teams in the league, Lin sometimes goes unnoticed by fans. He had discussed these matters previously, but in recent days he found himself in a weird position when a Milwaukee security guard asked for his pass to the Raptors bus.
Lin explained to Bill Michaels Sports Talk Network:
“After Game 2 in Milwaukee, I was trying to get to the team bus and one of the dudes in the Milwaukee arena just screams at me. He’s like, “Where do you think you’re going?!” And I’m like, “Uh, I’m trying to get to the team bus.” He’s like, “What?! Where’s your pass?” I was like, “I don’t have a pass. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t have a pass.”
“This happens in a lot of arenas, so I just kind of go with the flow.”
This is an odd moment, as nobody is forced to know the faces of every player in the league and the security guard was doing his job, but it’s kind of interesting to know why he thought Lin wasn’t part of the team or didn’t have access to the bus.
