It looks like Lonzo Ball is a man of many talents, as the young point guard has also been trying to pursue a rapping career even before being drafted with the 2nd overall pick in the Draft a couple of years ago.
‘Zo’ had already released a couple of singles and even an infamous diss track towards his friend and teammate Kyle Kuzma, something that brought up a lot of controversies among NBA fans and executives.
Now, the UCLA product has once again made the most of his NBA ties to try and get even more exposure as a songwriter, featuring fellow teammate Lance Stephenson in his latest single: Swerve.
Lance had some spare time during the All-Star Break, while Lonzo’s still nursing an ankle injury that’s going to keep him sidelined for an extra month or so, so the guards made the most of the break to hit the studio and take some pressure off their shoulders.
The Lakers have struggled with consistency all season long, so some fans took this effort as an unnecessary distraction, while others felt as if they needed to take their minds off basketball for a couple days.
Still, it’s kind of crazy to think this bromance could last for much longer, with both players being involved in several trade rumors prior to the deadline, which means they’re most likely going to be out in the summer.
If you’re a hip-hop fan, you may actually like this song, as for hoops fans, these two better start hitting the gym to try and help their team out, as they’re a couple spots out of the playoff picture right now.
