Snoop Dogg Makes Song To Convince Kawhi Leonard To Sign With Lakers

When the Los Angeles Lakers traded for Anthony Davis, they had no intention to land any free agent this offseason; now, a couple of weeks since the Brow made it to Los Angeles from New Orleans, they find themselves hours away from being Kawhi Leonard’s new team. Some reports suggest that the Lakers are the frontrunners to get Kawhi’s signature this summer, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have work to do.

While the Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors are still trying to attract Leonard, the Lakers are using everything they can use to convince the forward to join them and they recently received some help from one of their most famous fans.

Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg, who happens to be a lifelong Lakers fan, is doing his part to convince the Klaw to take his talents to the Staples Center to play for the Purple and Gold, singing him a song and praying that the deal is completed soon. Recording himself singing a song to the hooper, Snoop broke out into a famous tune, belting, "Kawhi, Kawhi, tell me that you'll be a Laker/Kawhi, Kawhi, come back to LA."

Kawhi has been rumored to be wanting to go back to his native Los Angeles and now those rumors are big seeing the options he has on the table. However, even though the Clippers were considered the favorite to sign the Klaw this summer, now the Lakers appear to be the frontrunners to land the two-time NBA champion.

A team featuring the likes of Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Kawhi Leonard sounds scary as hell, but Lakers fans still remember what happened the last time the front office tried to assemble a superteam with Kobe, Dwight Howard, and Steve Nash.

Nevertheless, we’re talking about three of the most dominant players in the association and the things they all can do together are beyond our imagination.
