The Atlanta Hawks Twitter Account Absolutely Destroyed Laker Fans With These Tweets

It's fair to say that the Los Angeles Lakers aren't the team that they once were back in the 80's and 2000's.

The Lakers have been going through perhaps their longest stretch of losing basketball in franchise history between 2013 and now, but finally look like they've figured things out, slowly building towards a core of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram and perhaps Julius Randle.

Despite their above-average season compared to years past, the Lakers are still a fair way from playoff contention this year, so it's no wonder a lot of Laker fans -- and there are a lot of them -- yearn for the times when Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.

The Atlanta Hawks' Twitter account knew this, and prior to their matchup with the Lakers, decided to have a little fun and play a game of "Is he on the current roster?" with the Laker fans in attendance.

The game started out strong for the Hawks.

And got even better with the spotting of a Nick Van Exel jersey.

Another Kobe fan in attendance.

The Hawks moved to 4-0 with the arrival of a Magic Johnson jersey.

Hell, there were even Laker fans who rocked up wearing a Michael Cooper jersey.

The Hawks even found Lou Williams and Jimmer Fredette jerseys before they found any current Laker jerseys.

But finally, after numerous attempts, the Atlanta Hawks finally found a fan wearing the jersey of a player currently on the team.

Hey, 1 out of 7 isn't bad, right?
