The Conspiracy Theory About LeBron James, Groin Injury And Anthony Davis

In an interesting turn of events in Golden State, the Lakers were able to decimate the Warriors 127-101. In a game where superstar LeBron James exited the game in the 3rd quarter because of a groin injury, but the Lakers were still able to finish off the Warriors.

LeBron finished with a stat line of 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists meanwhile on the other side the Warriors big 4 in Klay, Steph, Kevin, and Draymond combined for just 45 points. The Warriors looked bad all game as the team shot 40% from the field and 25% from beyond the arc. This game was a test and the Warriors failed to deliver against a team they may see in the playoffs.

What was interesting was after the game, a tweet from Rob Perez went out stating “Conspiracy Theory: LeBron is ok, he just wants to see which young guys can handle this spotlight to keep out of an Anthony Davis trade.”

Then a few fans have funny tweets.

Although no one was able to lay claim of whether or not this is true, the Lakers have seemed very interested in superstar Anthony Davis. There were even reports coming out stating that LeBron James and Anthony Davis went out to eat after the Lakers and Pelicans game on Friday. This brings up the question of whether or not that conspiracy theory may actually bring a legitimate case. It was well known that the Lakers are very interested in Anthony Davis but are unsure of who to give up for the 5x All-Star. Kyle Kuzma looked like he wanted no part in being involved in any trade talks as he put up 19 points to go along with 6 rebounds. Los Angeles Lakers saw another excellent performance Ivica Zubac who put up 18 points and 11 rebounds, all while shooting 90 percent from the field. The Lakers finish their blowout of the Warriors with 5 players with 14 points, 7 players in double digits, and 10 players with at least 6 points. It will be a very tough decision to create a trade package for Anthony Davis.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see who the Lakers decide to trade if they make an attempt to acquire Anthony Davis.
