The Shocking Heat Player Who Used To Regularly Beat LeBron James 1-On-1

There's no getting around the fact that LeBron James is the best player in the world and one of the best players of all-time.

That has been proven a lot of the years and has been proven most recently when LeBron carried a hapless Cavs team to the Finals.

So if I told you that Michael Beasley could beat him in a one-on-one basketball game, would you believe me? According to former Miami Heat beat writer Tom Haberstroh on the Back To Back podcast, that unlikely scenario was actually a thing of reality when James and Beasley were teammates on the Miami Heat.

Haberstroh said Michael Beasley and James would play one-on-one frequently, and that Beasley would actually win a lot of those games.

The thought of Michael Beasley (who is currently an unsigned free-agent), besting The King in a one-on-one game is just downright ridiculous. And while it's certainly shocking, Beasley has been known for his offensive skill set and has frequently had flashes of his scoring ability.

Don't make a mistake about it: nobody is better than LeBron James right now... and maybe ever. But, at least for the occasional one-on-one basketball match in Miami a few years ago, Beasley was at the top of the practice court world.
