Fadeaway World

Our inner child and the basketball fan inside are going nuts right now. Space Jam 2 can’t come soon enough, now that the film is finally confirmed and we’re about to see the Monstars try and rule the world again.

This time LeBron James is set to stop the Monstars from taking over, but, which players should those tiny villains take their talents from? They definitely have a lot of great ballers to choose from this time.

Today, we’re going to take a look at the top 5 players the Nerdlucks should take their talents from, as well as the superpower they could have. Sadly, stopping them looks like an almost impossible task for James and the Tune Squad.

Russell Westbrook is the most athletic player in the league and, according to Michael Jordan himself, the most athletic he’s ever seen, and that’s a lot to say coming from the guy that saved the world the first time.

So, the Nerdluck that takes Russ’s talents is going to be able to posterize even the biggest people in the world, dunking the rock so hard that he will literally open a hole right to the center of the earth.

SG: Stephen Curry - Full Court 3PTS

Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter to ever set foot on an NBA hardwood, so he’s a no-brainer choice for the Monstars, even though he’s always looked more like a good boy that goes to church and doesn’t hit the club on Friday.

Even though, he’s always thrived off hitting daggers and humiliating his peers, a couple of features that would definitely suit the Monstars, especially if he gets the power to pull up from his own basket and hit a contested three-pointer.

SF: Kevin Durant - Unlimited Length

Kevin Durant has already become one of the league’s biggest villains ever since leaving the Thunder, and the way he has responded to fans on social media make him the perfect Monstars' captain.

Also, him being a 7 footer that has always lied about his height (even if that makes no sense whatsoever), his superpower would be unlimited length, with him being able to stretch his extremities to a layup, dunk and block shots from everywhere on the court.

PF: Draymond Green - Kicking & Defense

Draymond Green is yet another guy everybody loves to hate, and the third member of the Dubs to be targeted by the Monstars. Who knows, with 3 of their starters getting their talents stolen, maybe anybody else could finally win the Chip.

All jokes aside, Green is the most versatile defender in the world, so the Nerdluck that takes his talents would be able to suffocatingly guard, block and steal from all 5 players at the very same time.

C: Joel Embiid - Trolling & Defense

Joel Embiid is one of the funniest and most charismatic players in the league, but sometimes he takes his jokes a bit to far and that has earned him a lot of haters as well. Nonetheless, there’s absolutely no denying his talents.

The Nerdluck that takes Embiid’s talents will be able not just to posterize, dunk and play top-notch defense, but also trash talk so hard that he will literally make any rival lose it. He’s going to pull their shorts down, tie his shoelaces together, blow in their ears.. Wait, isn’t that Lance Stephenson?
