A new Guinness World Record has been set for most NBA three-pointers in one minute. The record was set at 31 straight three-pointers by Anthony Miracola from Michigan who is a former high school basketball player and the small-ball national champion (arcade basketball).
The previous record was held by Casey Fowler who knocked down 26, but Miracola put his mark in history on Wednesday. It’s an incredible feat considering NBA players can’t defeat the record.
Miracola’s shot is not the nicest shot in the world, but it got the job done.
Curry has posted videos of himself shooting three-pointers, and it sure seems possible that he could nail 31 in under a minute.
However, it requires a certain person with a machine-like release to get the job in such a small amount of time. In these cases, it’s not about NBA talent but more of an arcade talent which Miracola clearly has.
