Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant once again showed why he’s such an extraordinary man. Bryant was at the scene of a Newport Beach, California car accident on Friday.
The five-time NBA champion turned into a good samaritan, helping comfort victims of the crash before emergency services arrived.
According to TMZ, Kobe left his car to assist the victims of the accident before police and ambulance put in an appearance.
Witnesses couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw the NBA legend get involved … but he seemed to be making a real impact and really helped.
It’s not the first time Kobe has played the role of Good Samaritan following a crash — he did the same back in Sept. 2018 … also in Newport Beach … helping people after the collision.
There were even some videos around social media showing the moments Bryant became a hero.
Following his retirement after the 2015-16 season, Kobe has been very busy. He produced a short film (which earned him an Academy Award last year), released an autobiographical book, is hosting an ESPN premium program breaking down games, and spending time with his family.
We’re pretty sure this is the last thing Kobe wanted to find on Friday, but a lot of o people must be happy he was there to help.
