Kendrick Perkins Says Giannis Antetokounmpo Is Playing To Be One Of The GOATs: “He Want To Be Sitting Down Having That Filet Mignon Or That Rib Eye With Jordan And Bron And Kareem And Magic And All Those Guys.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo keeps playing at a high level. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar has gotten better every season by becoming one of the best players in the NBA and collecting a lot of awards at a young age, emulating what other legends like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Tim Duncan did in the past

He’s already one of the greatest players of our generation, but many people see GOAT potential in Giannis. He’s been heavily criticized during all these years, but nobody can deny that he impacts the game and secures wins for his team.

Recently, Kendrick Perkins followed this line, claiming that Giannis is chasing the greatest of all time, as he wants to sit at the same table as big legends like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Magic Johnson (4:50).

“I think we’re setting the bar too low for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis is trying to sit at the table with the GOATs. That’s what Giannis is trying to do. He wanna be sitting down having that filet mignon or that rib eye with Jordan and Bron and Kareem and Magic and all those guys. That’s the path I’m seeing right now.”

Giannis’ domination has been remarkable. We haven’t seen this type of dominance since Shaquille O’Neal, and the worst part for rivals is that the Greek Freak is still hungry and trying to get better. The 2x NBA MVP enjoys every accolade he collects, but he’s always looking at the next thing.

Even after winning his first NBA championship, he hasn’t slowed down. Giannis is entering the best years of his career and that should be a scary team for the rest of the competition. If he maintains this level, we’ll probably see him becoming a top-10 player of all time, and according to Perkins, becoming one of the GOATs.
