Cole Anthony Fires Back At Fan Criticizing Luka Doncic's NBA 2K22 Cover

Cole Anthony had a big response to a fan criticizing the decision of putting Luka Doncic on the cover of the upcoming NBA 2K22. The Slovenian has earned his stripes in his first three seasons in the league, becoming one of the most exciting players to watch.

It wasn't a shock that Luka was selected to appear on the cover of NBA 2K22, but not everybody agreed with that. One fan took to Twitter to make a case for other players. The problem was that they only mentioned their race as the reason why they should get the spot over Doncic.

"I ain’t no racist but come on with the fucking overhyped. You got young black players that are better than him (trae young, devin booker, Donovan, Jamal Murray they’re who actually had more time in the playoffs. So many other players deserve it more. Just stop"

Cole Anthony didn't like this and called out the girl behind the Twitter account, using a famous meme to explain how inaccurate that take was.

"Tell me you don’t watch basketball without telling me you don’t watch basketball," Anthony wrote.

Besides Anthony, fans reacted to this take, defending Luka and explaining why this decision will help the league more than anything.

Luka has done impressive things during his first three campaigns with the Dallas Mavericks. Of course, he's yet to make a deep playoff run, but if the team can give him the help he needs, the young player can make a lot of noise.

Just see what Giannis Antetokounmpo has done this year with the Milwaukee Bucks. Now imagine what Luka would do if he gets the proper help.
