The New York Knicks struck out this free agency, failing to sign any of the big names available. Instead, they are stuck in their rebuild, with RJ Barrett and Kevin Knox leading the way for them.
But could they be up for redemption in 2020?
Apparently, the Knicks have some big plans for the summer.

Depending on how the Knicks spend their money during the summer of 2020, they could also have a sizeable amount of cap space heading into the summer of 2021.
The 2019-20 free-agent class could include Anthony Davis if he doesn't sign an extension with the Lakers, and could also include restricted free agents Brandon Ingram and Jaylen Brown.
Despite the free-agent class being relatively weak next summer, there are still a number of potential players who could help change the game for New York if signed.
Anthony Davis, depending on how this season goes with the Lakers, could be the biggest prize of them all.
Nonetheless, expect the Knicks to be very aggressive next summer in their pursuit of star power. They have got cap-space, a changing culture, and the will power to make some big changes in 2020. The world will be holding their breath.
